Graduated from a continuation high school in Monrovia California. Between grades 1-12 Reuben struggled with any school-related tasks. From homework, tests, paying attention in class, and anything else related. Struggling all through school didn’t completely stop him from pursuing his dreams and taking care of his family. At age 16 he got his first job working in a warehouse. Between ages 16-20 years old he had landed a total of 8 jobs and quitting all 8 because there was one thing missing in each job, it was not fulfilling. After graduating high school Reuben attempted to pursue college with intentions of one day getting into med school to become a surgeon. After 1 year of college it was no different, still failed each class despite studying for hours on end.
Reuben had no financial headstarts and didn’t grow up in a household of any business-minded individuals. His mother worked as a dental assistant to care for him and his older brother. Dad was not in the picture and did not support his mother whatsoever.
